This guide will show you how to create your first Ramble with RambleFix. You can learn more about what RambleFix is by clicking here.
1) Open the recorder
The first step is to open the recording dialog. On desktop this can be found on the top left of the screen. On mobile you will see a recording button hovering at the bottom middle of the screen.
2) Select what you're creating
Don't worry too much about your choice now — you can change it later.
The available formats are:
Transcript - The raw transcript, the exact words you spoke alongside the timestamp the words were spoken, with minimal punctuation fixes.
Note - A note summarising what you said
Article - Rewritten in the style of an article or blog post
List - An actionable list of items which can be ticked off and completed as you go
Social Post - Rewritten in the style of a social media caption/post
Email - Rewritten in the style of an email
Journal Entry - Rewritten in the style of a journal entry
You can always change back to the full time-stamped transcription of what you originally spoke.
3) Speak your mind
Start speaking your mind naturally, talk casually as if you're talking to a friend.
Don't worry about saying filler words like "umm" or "err", we'll remove these if you've chosen a format other than Transcript.
It's okay to go around in circles or backtrack - RambleFix will rewrite and restructure the essence of what it is you're trying to say.
4) See the result
You'll then be presented with the result in the format you chose. If you need to continue adding to the Ramble you've created, just click "Append" and keep speaking to carry on your session.
Don't forget you can continue to change the format as many times as you'd like, as well as the language your content is written in.
