They are not really the same category
Otter.ai is a meeting assistant. Its centre of gravity is the recurring call: a bot joins, transcribes live, identifies speakers, and leaves behind searchable notes the team can share. RambleFix is a voice-to-writing tool. Its centre of gravity is one person talking — into a recorder or straight into an app — and getting finished text back. People switch from Otter to RambleFix when they realise most of what they were capturing was themselves, not meetings.
Notes you can search versus a draft you can send
Otter produces a transcript and a summary with action items, which is what a meeting needs. RambleFix produces those too, and adds a rewritten draft in a style you choose — an email, a memo, a post — because the assumption is that you are going to send something, not just look it up later. If you rarely write from your recordings, that layer is wasted on you and Otter is the better fit.

Only if you are willing to record the meeting yourself. RambleFix will transcribe it, label the speakers, summarise it and pull out the action items — but it will not join the Zoom, Teams or Meet call as a participant, and it does not transcribe live while the call is running.
