What the table doesn’t tell you
Dictation is the floor, not the ceiling
Wispr Flow is excellent at the thing it is built for: you put your cursor somewhere, hold a key, talk, and clean text appears. RambleFix does that on Mac too. Where the two part company is the long recording. Talk for twenty minutes into RambleFix and you get back the verbatim transcript, a rewritten draft in the style you picked, a summary, and the action items pulled out as a list. That is a different job from typing a Slack reply by voice, and it is the job RambleFix is built around.
Price, and what the free tier actually is
Wispr Flow's free tier is metered weekly — 2,000 words a week on desktop, 1,000 on mobile — and Pro is €12 per user per month. RambleFix gives you 1,000 words a month free, and paid starts at $5 a month for unlimited words with recordings up to twenty minutes. If your usage is heavy and your budget is one seat, the gap is real. If you are buying ten seats with admin controls, Wispr Flow is the more complete purchase.
Where Wispr Flow is simply ahead
Three gaps are worth being blunt about. Wispr Flow runs natively on Windows, iPhone and Android; RambleFix has a Mac app and a web app that works in a mobile browser. Wispr Flow carries SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001, and will sign a BAA for HIPAA work; RambleFix has none of those certifications today. And Wispr Flow Notetaker joins your calls, which RambleFix does not do — you record or upload the audio yourself.

No. Transcription and the rewrite both run in the cloud. If offline dictation is a requirement, look at Superwhisper or Willow rather than either RambleFix or Wispr Flow's cloud path.
